1.Examination and Evaluation System:
- Year-Round Evaluation: Students' performance in all subjects is continuously assessed throughout the academic year.
- Monthly Tests:
- The monthly tests will cover the portion taught in that particular month (excluding portions tested in previous months).
- The class teacher will communicate the test portions to the parents through the Hand-Book for LKG to 3rd Std students.
- For students in 4th to 8th Std, the students are expected to note down the portions in their Hand-Book.
- Terminal Examinations:
- Terminal exams are conducted at the end of each term for all classes from LKG to 9th Std during the last week of the term.
- Examination Rules:
- Students who are absent for any exam (monthly or terminal) without a valid reason will be marked as absent and considered as having failed. These students will not be allowed to reappear for the exams.
- No text-books, notebooks, or other papers are allowed in the examination hall.
- Students found using unfair means or copying during the examination will be dismissed from the school.
- Promotion Criteria:
- Promotions are based on the average of five exams conducted throughout the year, including the annual exam.
- Consideration is also given to the student's character and discipline when determining promotions.
2.Early Departure From School:
Students wishing to leave school early must obtain permission from the Principal or an authorized person. Permission will only be granted under the following conditions:
- A written requisition letter from the parents must be submitted.
- Oral requests will not be accepted, especially when the student is sick, fatigued, or hurt.
- Unauthorized persons are not allowed to collect your wards.
3. Withdrawal Policy:
- Commitment to Stay: Students are admitted to the school with the expectation that they will remain enrolled for the entire course of study.
- Fee Requirement for Mid-Term Withdrawal:
- Students who leave the school in the middle of a term, for any reason, are required to pay the full school fees for the entire academic year.
- Transfer Certificate (T.C.) Application:
- Parents wishing to apply for a Transfer Certificate after the final promotion examination must do so within 15 days of the publication of the results. If the application is not made within this time, the T.C. will only be issued after the remittance of the first-term school fees, including the special fees.
- The request for the T.C. should be submitted using the prescribed application form available at the school office. The form must be signed by the parent.
- Notice Requirement for Withdrawal:
- A minimum of 7 days written notice is required for withdrawal from the school.
- Eligibility for Transfer Certificate:
- The T.C. will only be issued to students who have no pending fees or other payments due to the school.
4.Withdrawals Under Compulsion:
- Non-payment of Fees:
- Students who repeatedly fail to pay fees on time may be withdrawn from the school. The parent/guardian will be required to clear any outstanding dues before the withdrawal.
- Principal's Discretion:
- The Principal reserves the right to ask a parent or guardian to withdraw their ward from the school if the student's conduct, behaviour, or influence is deemed detrimental to the interests of the school. This action may be taken at the discretion of the Principal without the need for providing a specific reason.
